          Early Life and Career

          Rajinikanth, an Indian actor, was born in Bangalore as one of many children raised by a police officer.

          His mother passed away when he was five, leading him to work as a coolie to support himself. After completing his primary education in Kannada, Rajinikanth held various jobs from 1966 to 1973, including as a bus conductor.

          During this time, he also participated in amateur stage plays.

          Entry into Film Industry

          In 1973, Rajinikanth moved to Madras and enrolled in the Madras Film Institute, where he was noticed by director K. Balachander.

          Following Balachander's advice to master Tamil, Rajinikanth made his film debut in 1975 with a minor supporting role in "Apoorva Raagangal."
