Eddie Vedder is an American musician, vocalist, and guitarist of the band Pearl Jam.

Vedder was born as Edward Louis Severson III in 1964 in Evanston, Illinois, a Chicago suburb. His parents, Karen Lee Vedder and Edward Louis Severson Jr., divorced when he was only one year old.
