          Thereafter, he went to Bauchi Provincial Secondary School (–58) and Government College Keffi (–59), before attending Nigeria Police College Kaduna () and Police College Ikeja ().

          He also attended Detective Training School, Wakefield, UK (), Bramhill Police College UK (), International Police Academy, Washington DC, USA () and National Police Academy, Cairo, Egypt.[5]
